How connections work

  • OAuth-based: For supported OAuth connections, you sign in with the provider and approve the reporting scopes ClientSignal requests.
  • Scoped credentials: Other supported sources use credentials limited to the data needed for reporting.
  • No campaign mutations: ClientSignal does not create, edit, or delete ad campaigns.
  • Encrypted: Stored OAuth tokens and sensitive integration credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
  • Revocable: You can remove a connection in Settings and may also revoke it at the provider.
