Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: July 11, 2026
ClientSignal stores data you provide (your account, agency, and client details) and performance data retrieved from platforms you connect, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, TikTok Ads, and Google Search Console. You can have all of it deleted at any time.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Log in at clientsignal.io/login
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account
You must confirm your current password. The request immediately makes the workspace read-only and starts a durable process that retries temporary provider failures. ClientSignal confirms active-subscription cancellation and stored-logo removal before permanently deleting your agency, clients, generated reports, satisfaction responses, retrieved performance data, and stored connected-platform credentials. The owner authentication account is removed last.
Option 2: Disconnect a single platform
To remove a specific platform's data without deleting your account, you can also revoke ClientSignal's access from the platform side at any time — for Meta, via Facebook Settings → Business Integrations. Then email us (below) to request deletion of data already retrieved from that platform.
Option 3: Email us
Email support@clientsignal.iofrom the address associated with your account with the subject “Data deletion request.” We will delete your data and confirm within 30 days (typically much sooner).
What happens after deletion
ClientSignal attempts provider-side revocation for Google, Meta, TikTok, HubSpot, and Slack connections when it holds a revocable OAuth credential. Mailchimp currently requires you to remove ClientSignal from its authorized-app settings; Klaviyo private keys must be disabled or deleted in Klaviyo; and a historical Slack connection that stored only an incoming- webhook URL must be removed in Slack. We record those cases as requiring provider-side action rather than claiming revocation succeeded. Unsupported provider revocation does not prevent permanent deletion from ClientSignal's primary database and Storage, and ClientSignal always removes its own stored credential copy.
A credential-free recovery record remains for 30 days after completion so support can reconcile partial failures. Limited records can remain temporarily in encrypted backups or third-party processor systems under their billing, tax, delivery, suppression, legal, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, log, and backup-retention requirements. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we store and why.
